Deborah Martin, CSP
CEO/President
dmartin@servicespecialistltd.comA graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, Deborah has worked with several companies, some awesome and some ordinary. Her journey included stints at Coca-Cola USA, The Clorox Corporation, Sara Lee Products, and BASF/Engelhard. She has served in various management roles in Human Resources including responsibility for staff in Italy and the Netherlands.
In 1998 she purchased Service Specialists and found her dream job as CEO.
Deborah was named a Top 40 Business Woman by the Mississippi Business Journal, and in 2018 she was recognized as one of the Top 40 CEOs in the state of Mississippi. She has served on the Madison County Economic Development Board of Directors and the Governor’s Workforce Development Task Force.
Deborah is originally from Kosciusko, Mississippi, but made her way to Starkville via Goodman (Holmes Community College), where she met her husband and partner, David.
Even though Deborah has papers showing that she graduated from StarkVegas, her real love is Ole Miss. She loves all things Ole Miss—The Grove and most of all Ole Miss Football. Deborah thinks that she knows what “holding” is and certainly lets the refs know when they don’t call it.
If she isn’t at her desk, you can find Deborah fishing, gardening, hunting, or in the outdoors somewhere. Her happiest days are those spent chasing her two young grandchildren. Deborah enthusiastically supports The Palmer Home, The Mustard Seed, and But God Ministries.
