Accompanying this expansion is the appointment of Dana McLean as the Staffing Manager for the newly inaugurated office.
Dana McLean joins the Service Specialists Recruitment team with a wealth of local business experience and a passion for creating meaningful connections between businesses and the workforce. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Alabama and a law degree from Stetson University, Dana has honed her business skills in the local Golden Triangle industry. She is very involved with many community and civic organizations including the Columbus-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of the Golden Triangle Leadership Class of 2016. She has also represented buyers and sellers as a realtor and loves introducing newcomers to all the great things that Columbus and the Golden Triangle have to offer. In 2019 Dana was elected to the Mississippi House of Representatives representing Lowndes and Monroe counties, where she serves on several committees including Workforce Development. With a background in law and a history of community involvement, she brings a unique perspective to her role as Staffing Manager. Her commitment to fostering relationships within the community, as well as her active engagement with community organizations, aligns perfectly with Service Specialist Recruitment’s values.
