About Service Specialists

Service Specialists is a staffing and recruitment company working for companies and individuals based across the United States.

In May of 1998, Service Specialists was purchased by The Martin Group, LLC, which is owned by Deborah and David Martin. Their vision was to take the 1967-founded company to a new capacity level by branching out and providing new niche services to government and commercial customers throughout the southeast.

In 2019 the company located their principal business at 157 North Union Street on the historic square in Canton, Mississippi. They continue to have a satellite facility at 201 Hwy 51, Suite C in Ridgeland, MS.

Service Specialist’s President Deborah Martin was selected as one of the Top 40 Under 40 in Mississippi. She has served on the highly visible MCEDA Board of Directors, the Governor’s Council on Junior Colleges, and many religious and philanthropic organizations throughout the state.

Service Specialists has been certified by the U. S. Small Business Administration as a Woman-Owned HUBZone Small Business and is a graduate of the 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business Program.
