Administrative Assistant
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and support daily activities of the office and workplace.
- Maintain on a daily basis inventory management software. (Fishbowl & Internal Company Excel Spreadsheets)
- Assist with compiling and creating Bill of Material & cost analysis spreadsheets.
- Help coordinate with Vendors and Customers on a weekly basis.
- Assist with creating PowerPoint presentations.
- Responsible for answering phones and scheduling calls.
- Provide timely and effective communication and resolutions to any issues relating to customers or vendors.
- Assist the development, implementation, and review of operational policies and procedures.
- Promote a company culture that encourages peak performance, collaboration, teamwork, and strong morale.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Develop and champion a solid understanding of the company core values and purposes in order to act as an ambassador of the company.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrates an ability to analyze information and formulate logical conclusions.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrates professionalism with handling employee matters including maintaining confidentialities.
- Possesses the ability to read and interpret written information such as legal requirements, personnel policies and procedures.
- Displays an attitude of customer service toward customers and employees.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge of data entry and filing organization
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Proficiency at operating standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets fax machines, as well as all social media platforms.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Regularly views information on a computer monitor and paper documents at close distances.
- Occasionally moves about in an office environment.
- Regularly uses hands and fingers to operate a 10 key adding machine and computer keyboard.
- Frequently sits for long periods of time while working with others.
- Frequently gives verbal directions and observes the work of others.
- Frequently communicates verbally with both internal and external parties.
