Seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer to join a thriving marketing agency in Ridgeland, MS. This hybrid role is ideal for qualified candidates based in Mississippi, or surrounding states who have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating and building efficient and scalable web applications. As a front-end web developer, you’ll work as an integral part of the web team to build highly performant websites and web apps, usually in WordPress or Laravel. You will team with other developers, designers, and content strategists to provide users with an exceptional digital experience. You’ll also get coffee. And donuts. And cake. :)

What You'll Need

  • Strong experience building pixel-perfect adaptations of UI designs from Figma or Adobe XD
  • Strong demonstrated experience with React or Vue
  • Experience with a full-stack framework like Nextjs/Nuxtjs
  • Thorough knowledge of TailwindCSS, the Tailwind typography plugin, and TailwindUI
  • Familiarity with fetching and rendering data from REST APIs in a clean and performant way
  • A grip on Git, and a commitment to the daily version control push and pull within a team
  • Understanding of WCAG compliance, and comfort writing code that meets WCAG AA standards
  • Experience reading and acting on frontend performance reports from tools like Google Lighthouse
  • Self-motivation and resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn frameworks or tools you may be unfamiliar with
  • Discipline to stay up-to-date with the latest development tools and techniques

Salary: $60k-$70k

Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00
