Seeking a Hyperbaric Program Director for an innovative health and wellness clinic located in Gillette, WY. This individual will oversee and manage the operations of the hyperbaric program and ensure the safety of all hyperbaric treatments and procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing exceptional patient care within the hyperbaric department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Hyperbaric Program Director

  • Oversee the overall management and operation of the hyperbaric program.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate hyperbaric treatment protocols in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Run Multi Place and Mono Place chambers in an outpatient setting.
  • Ensure the maintenance and calibration of hyperbaric equipment and chambers.
  • Develop and manage the program's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Provide training and ongoing education to staff on hyperbaric medicine and related procedures.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination within the team.
  • Stay updated on advancements in hyperbaric medicine and integrate new practices into the program

Safety Director

  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures for the hyperbaric department.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding hyperbaric medicine and safety.
  • Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide safety training to staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about emergency procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the facility's safety committee to address any safety concerns and implement improvements.
  • Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for any safety-related inquiries or concerns within the hyperbaric program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification in Hyperbaric Medicine (e.g., CHT, CHWS) required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hyperbaric medicine, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of hyperbaric chamber operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., UHMS, NFPA).
  • CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Previous experience as a safety officer or director in a healthcare facility.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Salary Rage: $60k-$90k
