Warehouse Manager
Seeking a Warehouse Manager for a small operation for a promotional product company in Jackson. This individual will oversee all aspects of warehouse operation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling goods and inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics.
Personnel
- Provide leadership, training, and coaching for warehouse personnel.
- Handle employee reviews, train new employees, provide continuous training, and counsel on job-related matters.
- Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds and transport up a ladder.
- Direct supervision of 1-2 direct reports
Inventory Receipt and Storage
- Maintain inventories using National Awards inventory software.
- Receive and verify shipments of inbound and outbound products.
- Store inventory received in proper areas
- Order products for inventory:
- Order supplies for the Warehouse.
- Order supplies for the Engraving Department.
- Handle the donation of depreciated inventory as approved.
Packing and Distribution
- Pull and pack orders for shipment.
- Distribute plaques & trophies received from the Engraving Department.
- Work hand-in-hand with sales reps to meet customers' packing and shipping needs.
Shipping
- Create labels for foreign and domestic destinations using shipping software.
- Monitor and communicate shipping programs to provide the lowest costs as the market fluctuates.
- Handle schedules and challenges with delivery service providers related to dropping off or picking up shipments.
Maintenance
- Manage and subcontract building and equipment maintenance repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout the warehouse.
Schedule: 8:00-4:30 Monday-Thursday, 8:00-4:00 Friday
Salary: $36k-$38k + Benefits
